In our area this season we had an absolute abundance of mangoes. People were giving them away – beautiful delicious juicy sweet mangoes and I certainly indulged! Besides eating them fresh, I was chopping them up and freezing them, later to eat them half frozen – just like an icecream – hmmm, so cooling during this hot humid weather we have been having.
I also pondered on the reason why there was such a massive crop this season – the Universe provides what we need – and when we tune in to Gaea we become so aware of what is around us. It just takes an awareness to observe.

It’s the way mother nature intended. The key is to always seek out foods that are ‘in-season’ that are fresh and locally grown. Find and support your local farmer’s markets and growers.
